Nubz

Monday, August 30th, 2010

My mom and I were on the phone the other night and talked until there’s nothing else to talk about but the dogs… She was telling me to just have kids so I don’t treat the dogs like babies while I was telling her to make dog training her new hobby.

I was shopping for dog treats when I stumbled upon Nylabone Nubz. We are giving the dogs a similar product – Edible Dental Dog Chews – that also helps kee

p the dogs’ teeth clean, promote healthy gums, reduce tartar and keep their breath fresh. But it’s somehow failing on the last one. Here’s the other great thing that Nubz dog treats are:

• Natural

• Made in USA

• Helps clean teeth, freshens breath, and reduce plaque and tartar build-up

• Highly digestible

• Made with Real Chicken

• No added sugar, salt, plastic, or preservatives

• 18 Large size bones can break into 36 smaller treats; ideal snack size

• Gluten-free formula

• DOGS LOVE THEM!!!

Maybe I should give Nubz a try. This is the best time to buy because they have an ongoing promotion in Costco that’s good until September 12th! Coupon value is $3.50.

Dog breeding

Guest post written by Sharon Jones

I started breeding Jack Russell terriers four or five years ago. It started out as an income supplement and when I retired it became my hobby that made a nice turn of profit.

We keep the dogs at our home, which can be quite hectic. But my husband also loves dogs, so it isn’t really a disadvantage to us. The breed isn’t too small of a dog, but it’s not too big either that they absolutely wreak havoc on our household.

Our two main dogs just had puppies a few weeks ago so a lot of people have been coming by and looking at them. One couple brought their toddler last week and they picked out one of the girls in the litter. They thought that being around a dog and helping care for it would help their son mature some and improve his interaction skills. I agreed and had a long conversation with the mother about this while my husband settled the payment with her husband. I noticed I was having some trouble hearing her so after they left I looked up some hearing aid prices.

With the extra cash from our breeding business on the side, I was able to buy some and am pretty happy with them. I’m able to be a little more attentive to the dogs now because I notice more when they bark or are play fighting.

Man’s aging best friend

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

Guest post written by Maxine Hodes

When I got a new puppy for my children, I knew that I would have to end up taking care of it. But the Jack Ruseell Terrier was just too cute to not get. As my kids grew older and they went away to college, Buster stayed with us at home and he became my dog, after all.

Buster’s obviously gotten older and had more health problems, like I have too. So I just say that the two of us are aging gracefully together. He’s had some bladder problems so I have to let him out more often and I don’t always hear him whimpering or barking at me to let him out.

After getting sick of cleaning up so many accidents in the house, I decided that my hearing loss was affecting him so I went and took a free hearing test.

The test’s results were exactly the outcome that I predicted and I got a hearing aide as a result.

Now I feel like I can pay more attention to Buster and he appreciates my company more.

Buying Pet Food

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Guest blog post from Alex Crossley

Do you love your pet, but are tired of paying exorbitant amounts of money for their pet food? If so, you are not alone. I will share one of my own secrets with you, to keep you from paying more than you need to on pet food. It is simple: buy your pet food on hughes net satellite internet service. Ever since I started buying my pet food online with my hughesnetinternet connection, I have found that I have saved hundreds of dollars in just a couple years.

Shopping online for pet food is actually more convenient than having to go to the store. Just think about it. You go to a department store to buy pet food, and then you have to carry the heavy bags around with you. You then have to haul bags of food in and out of your car. It is truly a hassle! However, with online shopping you only need to click and order which bag of food you want to buy. Then, the bag of food is shipped directly to your door step! You do not have to worry about hauling a heavy bag of food around with you from the store to your home.

Buying my pet food for my precious puppy is the best decision I ever made. It is much easier on my arthritis and it saves me a lot of cash!
