Car-pet Cleaning

Thursday, May 5th, 2011

During my first week here with hubby, on our way to Anaheim, I spilled soda all over the passenger area of his car. After that, I felt that I ought to clean up his car when I got the chance. I used to do that when we stayed home so he can do some school work. That way I didn’t disturb him and I still accomplished something.

Since I got pregnant, I wasn’t able to clean his car, of course; I could not do all the bending and twisting in that cramped space. So just imagine all the amount of clutter and dust that have accumulated in there over nine months (or more). His car is in desperate need of detailing or maybe just a simple auto carpet cleaner austin. I mean, I don’t know how he kept his car clean before I moved in but had he been in Austin or somewhere else in Texas, he would have just gone to http://www.thesteamteam.com/ and get his car serviced.

Cars and Me

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

I don’t know anything about car, so to distinguish one car from another is suicide. Seriously I am not fascinated with cars until I saw a Ferrari not long time ago! Oh, boy I fell in love the instant I saw that red Ferrari I only see on husband’s car magazines! From the boastful body, to the Ferrari parts that composes it – this surely brings the driver to the highest level of showing off! As if you also bought some bragging rights if you own one!

Oh well, do I dream of owning that luxury car one day? Somehow. But maybe I will buy one red ferrari if I can already afford to buy three!

The hubby still has a hangover from his sister’s buying a car recently. He still thinks she should have bought a brand new Toyota Corolla. But I know he won’t say another word to make her feel bad or regret her decision. We both agreed that making decisions and mistakes is a part of growing up and that he should just let his sister take a little control of her life and learn if she fails in some of her decisions.

This reminds me, we should probably have the water pump and the timing belt on the car checked. It already has high mileage and needs more attention now. It’s starting to make funny sounds, and it’s kind of scary to think it might just get broken in the most unexpected time.

Meanwhile, a certain girlfriend owes me a phone call! I hope she’s doing fine, planning her wedding and not spending time at some Chicago auto repair shop somewhere again.
