Everyone is trying to save money these days. I’m no different. Luckily, I have kept my job due to hard work and always doing as I’m told. On the other hand, I’m not taking any chances. I need to save money in case I lose my job. What I have realized about saving is that it adds up really fast. All I do is put 10% of every paycheck into my savings. I can’t believe how much money I have saved after only one year. But there are other reasons I have more money as well. One reason is that I don’t spend on excess things anymore. For example, I use to frequent the bookstore. Before I knew it, I was spending $50 easy, even though I had no intention on spending a dime. I eventually realized that it would be a good idea to go to the library instead. Now, every day after I get home from work, I eat a snack, set my ADT Home alarm, and walk to the library. Do I go there to read books? Yes. Does it save me money? Yes. Is there another reason that I go the library that I haven’t mentioned yet? Absolutely. There is a girl around my age who is always there at the same time. I’m hoping she sits across from me for a reason, but I’m not sure. I’m going to keep an eye on her without looking creepy. Maybe I can gather up the nerve to talk to here. The worst case scenario is that I get rejected and start going to the bookstore again.
